BRD was engaged by Hutchinson builders to be a part of the $150m redevelopment of The District Shopping, entertainment and dining precinct. The redevelopment is called The Market and we were engaged to do the structural works in converting the ground floor and mezzanine of a 7-level car park conversion. For this project, BRD Industries used a laser screed to finish over 10,000m2 of ground floor. Our scope involved the footing strengthening, slab on ground, suspended slabs and ramps. The project was an overall success and we are grateful for the repeat business that our clients entrust us with.
