The new Geoff Handbury Science and Technology Hub at Melbourne Grammar School is a simple, singular sculptural structure. The construction of the new five level Science and Technology Hub replaces the existing science building. The cutting edge design of this building facilitates scientific and technological investigations.
BRD Industries was engaged by Kane Construction to complete the full structure package. The project was interesting with its rounded floor plate shapes & BubbleDeck formwork system which provided some challenges during construction.
This was BRD’s 25th project with Kane Construction – a testament to our clients entrusting us with repeat business.
