Parliament House Office Accommodation

Parliament House Office Accommodation is a new freestanding, two-level office building with a roof garden which was constructed to the east of the existing heritage listed Parliament House.

BRD was engaged by Cockram Construction (now ICON) to build 102 new offices, a breakout area and amenities for the Members of Parliament. This was a special project for us as not only is it a prestigious project in the heart of Melbourne, it also involved the use of BubbleDeck Formwork which is a new formwork system which saves concrete through the use of proprietary air bubbles in the slab.

BRD’s scope of work involved the structural works to the footings, ground slab, suspended slabs and the installation of BubbleDeck.
